Jobs in Louisville: Two companies hosting job fairs Oct. 27, 28


Adecco and JobNewsUSA are both hosting job fairs, hoping to hire thousands of people in Kentucky and southern Indiana.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two companies are hoping to hire thousands of people in Louisville and southern Indiana by hosting job fairs during the last week of October.

Adecco is bringing its mobile job fair to the Louisville area Tuesday, Oct. 27 and Wednesday, Oct. 28 to fill more than 5,000 seasonal warehouse positions, according to a press release.

The job fair will be held on Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. to noon at 7700 Tradeport Drive. Job seekers at all experience levels are encouraged to apply. Members of the Adecco team will be at the job fair to help answer questions about the application process and available jobs.

According to Adecco’s hiring website, warehouse positions are available in Louisville, Shepherdsville and Walton, Ky. and weekly wages range from $14 to more than $30/hour, depending on position.

JobNewsUSA is also hosting a job fair across the river in Jeffersonville, Ind. on Tuesday, Oct. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fair will be held at The Refinery, formerly Kye’s, at 500 Missouri Avenue.

Available positions range from entry-level to management and recruiters will be on-site to help with the hiring process. Some companies may conduct interviews and make job offers on the spot.

Registration is required to attend and is open online.

Companies participating in the JobNewsUSA job fair include Allegiance Staffing, FedEx Ground, Mitchell Plastics, Zenith Logistics and many others.   

Masks will be required and hand sanitizer stations will be available to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
