Erie’s Logistic’s Plus honored as top workplace for pandemic era

Inc. magazine has recognized Erie-based Logistics Plus as one of 12 companies that created a great work environment during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The list of 12 companies includes a short profile on the logistics and transportation company.

“It’s hard to maintain a fun culture, and as you get bigger, I think it gets tougher,” said Jim Belin, founder and CEO of Logistics Plus. “But we focus on it, and when the employees say ‘we love working here,’ what better reward can there be than that.”

McDowell Manufacturing held an open house on Tuesday to showcase its technology lab and the work of students at McDowell Senior High School.

Dennis M. Davin, secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, was scheduled to be a guest for the open house.
